1953 Queen's Coronation - Celebration Arch
Once upon a time, I was invited to join the event of Queen Elizabeth II's exhibition in Hong Kong with my LEGO builder friends. We have the fun mission to support the event: Re-created the scene of 1953 Hong Kong to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in London. My friends created dragon dances, marching bands, , elaborate floats, Chinese theme Tong-Lau buildings. And I created a huge Pai Lau (Celebration Arch) built for the occasion and decoarated weith flowers, lantern and traditional pattern. Combine all the fantastic Chinese & Western stuffs to respresent the 1953 Hong Kong celebration the coronation of QEII. Finally we completed the project over 3 years long and we made remarkable achievements and memories for us during covid period.
